Back home!!

We returned this week to Atlanta.

Marveled at the Japanese maples.

Enjoyed the single leaves shapes, sizes, and colors. And the blooming native azalea.

And even the sharing by a bluebird and a chipmunk.

Picked up down branches from recent storm.

Grilled on the Big Green Egg.

Paid my quite large Visa bill.

Knew where the electrical outlets are.

Breakfast. Had what I wanted and when I wanted it.

Got to see and hug our guys and others in the family or family to be.

A quick overnight trip to Clemson to see two dear friends, one of whom we hadn’t seen in years.

Back in time to hear July 4th fireworks tomorrow night from bed.

In some ways, April 17th seems like three years ago! A long time. In other ways, I seem like I have only been gone a few days. Strange!

But….Ahhhh….nothing like home….
